Keep to the code 📜🏴‍☠️

Plundarrpedia welcomes questions, corrections, examples, and contributions from people with wildly different levels of Docker and media-automation experience. Keep the harbor useful, patient, and safe for everyone.

The articles

All hands participating in this repository agree to:

  • treat other people with respect, patience, and good faith;
  • welcome beginner questions without making the asker feel small;
  • keep disagreements focused on documentation, code, behavior, and evidence;
  • explain platform assumptions instead of treating one setup as universal;
  • protect credentials, webhook URLs, private logs, VPN material, and personal infrastructure details;
  • accept constructive feedback and correct mistakes transparently.

Mutiny most foul

The following behavior is not welcome:

  • harassment, insults, slurs, threats, stalking, or unwanted attention;
  • publishing another person's private information or infrastructure details;
  • posting credentials, tokens, live VPN configuration, webhook URLs, or unsanitized logs;
  • spam, deliberate misinformation, or sustained bad-faith disruption;
  • turning technical disagreements into personal attacks;
  • encouraging configurations that knowingly expose users or their networks.

Keep private cargo below deck

Documentation reports and screenshots can expose more than expected. Remove or replace real:

  • API keys, passwords, tokens, and webhook URLs;
  • WireGuard keys and generated wg0.conf files;
  • public IP addresses, private hostnames, and identifiable local paths;
  • account names, library names, and unsanitized application logs.

Warning

Do not open a public issue containing vulnerability details or live secret material. Follow the security policy instead.

Enforcement

The maintainer may edit or remove content, close or lock discussions, reject contributions, or block participants whose behavior violates these rules. Enforcement decisions should protect the community and the project, not settle personal disagreements.

This is a small open source project, not a tribunal of pirate law. Be decent, be specific, and help leave the charts clearer than you found them.

Attribution

This code of conduct is custom for Plundarrpedia and inspired by the shared principles of healthy open source communities: respect people, protect private information, and keep technical collaboration constructive.
